I am in the process of building an electric vehicle. I will be exploring possibilities and learning and sharing along the way. I have already acquired a donor truck and several components, including batteries (I couldn't find a drop cord long enough). There are a lot of choices along the way, and I have chosen to save money at every turn, because many of these components can be expensive. I have chosen to try to find used components and re-purpose them to be part of an electric vehicle.
My blogs will step through the process I have completed so far, then will slow down as I proceed and hopefully complete a workable vehicle. I hope to have one that will get me to work and back, a 36 mile round trip. I am also working on some solar options, as I would eventually like to build a charging station at my home.
